As the moments pass on....:D
The time is ticking; every second is passing giving each and every player a tough time on the field. The attackers are in position looking out for offside and goalkeeper guiding his guys to mark the mark the unmarked players. The boundary line referee is looking out for aggressive players trying to foul. The crowd is uniformly divided in two groups, both of them howling and hooting for their team. This match has so far been a suspense....leaving the remaining 26 seconds of the game, the past 89 minutes showed the struggle for position and lead, without a goal being hit. The commentators have no more words for the situation on the field. Even the vendors and he bar tenders have stopped their sale… their eyes set on the ball. A few seconds back, a slide tackle has been a reason for such a situation all the players are nervous and are trying to overcome the fatigue and sprain they’ve had during the game. The kick taker is looking as if he has had an emotional breakdown. The pressure he has been experiencing due to the situation and crowd has caused an adrenalin flow through him. The referee whistles, he ears hear it, the legs takes the grip he starts the run and he kicks the ball. He didn’t try to pass it to any of his team mates. All the players could read the kick takers intentions, but could do nothing about it other than staring he ball, which is whizzing past them. The goal keeper reacting to the kick… leaps towards his right. He has stretched himself to the maximum… his hands are flying towards the upcoming ball. The ball is having an enormous speed….swings away from the goal keeper… touches his gloves but it just misses pole and hits the net inside the line. What an amazing reply by the kick taker. The kick was top class, and quite easily relieved the pressure he faced.
